Bounce Corruption Public Integrity Debate Competition

Bounce Corruption Public Integrity Debate Competition for students of tertiary institutions.   The Debate Competition is an activity under the Bounce Corruption project of the Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth and Advancement (YIAGA) implemented with support from the MacArthur Foundation.

The Bounce Corruption project is designed to complement efforts by state and non-state actors in the fight against corruption by promoting zero tolerance for corruption and impunity through effective citizen’s oversight and mobilization for accountable governance.  

 The debate competition will involve selected tertiary institutions across the six geo-political zones of the country. The debate competition will provide a platform for harnessing youth views into the anti-corruption fight as well as a platform for propagating the values of integrity, transparency and accountability. The national debate competition will be in 3 stages. The first stage is the preliminary (zonal), which will take place in the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria beginning with respective tertiary Institutions in selected States as the host Institution. While the knockout and final stage will both take place in Abuja.  

The debate will be in University of Lagos for the South West region scheduled for Monday, 26th February 2018.
